Each classroom has a Patron Saint and as a class, they celebrate their Feast Day. During the days leading up to the feast, teachers familiarize students with facts and details about their class Saint. Students may present a paper or another project to demonstrate their knowledge. Then the feast day is celebrated with lunch, typically with cuisine from the Saint's hometown.

Our Lady of Guadalupe pays special attention to the various liturgical seasons within the Church, such as Advent, Christmas, Lent, Holy Week, and Easter. The special events at the school aim to continually nurture the school community’s love for Christ and his Church. Parents and students are encouraged to take an active part in living the liturgical year with the Church through the activities and celebrations organized at the school.
ADVENT: The school offers confession for 3rd-8th grade students during the Advent season.
LENT: The school offers confession for 3rd-8th grade students during the Lenten season. Second-grade students make their First Confession around this time. Students also attend the Stations of the Cross each Friday, culminating with the live stations of the cross presented by our 8th-grade class.
Holy Week: Just before Easter break, our third-grade students re-enact the washing of the feet.
